Bear Pen Tallow Co. began with a simple goal: create skincare that doesn't overcomplicate things. Living in the Arkansas Ozarks taught me that the best things are often the simplest — quality ingredients, honest work, and products made with care.
Bear Pen Tallow Co. was born right here in the Arkansas Ozarks — a place where the land is honest, the people are hardworking, and simplicity is something to be proud of. That spirit is woven into everything we make.
The idea was straightforward: create skincare that doesn't overcomplicate things. No unnecessary fillers, no ingredient lists you need a chemistry degree to read. Just thoughtfully chosen ingredients that work — the way skincare was meant to be.
What started as a personal desire to find better skincare for my own family grew into something I'm deeply proud to share with others. Bear Pen Tallow Co. is a small business in every sense — built slowly, carefully, and with a lot of heart.

For more than 23 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, I've had the privilege of helping people through some of life's most difficult and important moments. Bear Pen Tallow Co. grew from that same desire to care for others in a different way — by creating thoughtful skincare products made with purpose, patience, and attention to detail. My hope is that every product feels personal, comforting, and worthy of the people using it.”
